For twenty five years SLCDF has been working with the Canadian NGO, Cardinal Leger and His Endeavours (CLO). The last was a joint project along with Development and Peace completed in 2011. It was a two year project to develop the capacity of SLCDF staff and NGO network and implement participatory integrated district development programmes (PIDDP) in 7 districts. The focus of the PIDDPs was through community level activities to improve food security of rural poor, prevent environmental degradation, promote and practise environment friendly agriculture and livelihoods, encourage appropriate technology for value addition and improve marketing networks and productivity including quality assurance and improved presentation of products.
