District Consortium

Ampara DC was registered under Voluntary Services Organization Act No. 31 of 1980 and the Registration No. SS/NEP/AM/AV/AV1/1/35.

To promote links and dialogue between and among the member organizations
To avoid duplication of activities, share knowledge, skills and learning.
To enhance collective actions and promote harmony of different ethnic groups.
To build capacities of the member organizations in order to provide effective services for civil society.

Facilitation of 1, one-day workshop in the district targeting non-members - INGOs, CSO opinion makers, and other non-members, on the CoC, self-assessment tool and proposed process. (10 non-member organizations per workshop)
Facilitation of 2, one-day workshops for District Consortium members, on the CoC, self-assessment tool and proposed process. (25 participants per workshop)
Volunteer district trainers and district consortia engage in follow-up discussions, respond to clarifications, and encourage the submission of application
