Gampaha DC was registered under Voluntary Services Organization Registration No. Gam/minu/2/3/7/96 dated on 20th November 1996.
Objectives
To promote links and dialogue between and among the member organizations

To build capacities of the member organizations in order to provide effective services for the civil society.

Code of Conduct (CoC) and self-assessment tool revisited, field-tested and finalized in Tamil, Sinhala and English languages.
Code of Conduct (CoC) and self-assessment tool popularized amongst 500+ local civil society organizations and other development actors.
250 applications for COC accreditation received from district and national level CSOs.
A team of independent accreditors trained and appointed.
