District Consortium

Vavuniya DC was registered under Voluntary Services Organization Registration No. V/DL/20 dated on 18th August 2004

To promote links and dialogue between and among the member organizations
To avoid duplication of activities, share knowledge, skills and learning
To enhance collective actions and promote harmony of different ethnic groups
To build capacities of the member organizations in order to provide effective services for the civil society.

Facilitation of 1, one-day workshop in the district targeting non-members - INGOs, CSO opinion makers, and other non-members, on the CoC, self-assessment tool and proposed process. (10 non-member organizations per workshop)
Facilitation of 2, one-day workshops for District Consortium members, on the CoC, self-assessment tool and proposed process. (25 participants per workshop)
Volunteer district trainers and district consortia engage in follow-up discussions, respond to clarifications, and encourage the submission of applications
