Graduating the Poor

Graduating the Poor was funded by Palmera projects and directed by SLCDF to lift 980 households across 6 Districts out of poverty. The project aims to create Self-Help Groups among the beneficiaries and provided Home Gardening Modules and materials. The project is currently ongoing.

40 Civil Society Organizations, 40 facilitators established within CSOs, 125 peer educators working with 9,000 Female sex workers, Deserted Women & Single Women, 20 facilitators as trainers to build capacity of female sex workers and peer educators, 40 barefoot nutritionists, 40 lawyers from the Legal Aid Commission, 200 Key government sector officials, 50 political leaders and representatives, 50 community and religious leaders (power holders), 30 schools and school development associations
