USAID's support gives new lease of life to Kanakasunderam Komathidevi

Komathidevi born in 1952 married Kanakasunderam in 1972. They have four sons and a daughter who are currently married. The daughter's husband has left her and she has a school going child. As a result of the conflict the family lost 25 cows, 40 goats, poultry and vehicles. At present they cannot afford to meet even their basic needs. They now live in a rented house and do not have even a toilet.
