STRENGTHENING CLIMATE RESILIENCE IN MONARAGALA AND KURUNEGALA

Supported by Hope International Development Agency

This project, funded by HOPE International Development Agency (Canada) and implemented by the Sri Lanka Centre for Development Facilitation (SLCDF), aims to build the capacity of farming communities in Moneragala and Kurunegala districts to adapt to climate change. Through awareness, regenerative agriculture, small tank restoration, and reforestation, the project encourages sustainable livelihood improvements and community-led climate action. The second stage is currently ongoing.

Farming communities in six DS divisions are more resilient to the impacts of climate change and actively participate in sustainable ecosystem restoration.
