The One Step Up – Telungu project is a 12-month initiative by SLCDF and Palmera Australia aimed at strengthening the economic resilience and social inclusion of vulnerable communities. Focusing on women, persons with disabilities, and socially excluded groups, the project supports sustainable livelihoods through capacity building, financial access, and inclusive participation.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

Primary

To strengthen the resilience and economic wellbeing of vulnerable Telungu-speaking communities through inclusive livelihood development.

Target Groups

Direct - 

  • Women from socially excluded communities

  • Persons with disabilities

  • Low-income households involved in agriculture and small enterprises

Indirect -

  • Family members of direct beneficiaries

  • Community-based organizations (CBOs)

  • Local service providers and markets benefiting from increased economic activity
