Construction Underway:
We have successfully initiated construction work on four vital small tanks in the Rambawa and Thirappane divisions. This marks the beginning of the rehabilitation of critical water infrastructure, which will enhance water retention, improve irrigation efficiency, and mitigate the impacts of seasonal drought.

Securing Future Water Access:
We have finalized preparations and scheduled the commencement of rehabilitation work on an additional five small tanks located in the Kebithigollewa and Mihinthale areas. This next phase of work is set to begin in the third week of August 2025, demonstrating our commitment to rapid, large-scale intervention.
