MR. J.M. HENRY DE MEL

Treasurer

Mr. J.M. Henry De Mel is an independent development consultant with four decades of experience in research, program management, and capacity building. Starting his career at the Marga Institute, he went on to hold key positions at organizations such as Sida and Norad, where he led rural development, rehabilitation, and NGO engagement initiatives.


He co-founded Lanka Development and Training Consultants, specializing in Logical Framework Approach (LFA)-based planning and evaluations. Over the years, he has led or contributed to over 49 evaluations and 35 training programs for agencies including UNDP, USAID, GIZ, and Save the Children. Henry also serves on the boards of South Asia Partnership, Paltra, and SLCDF.
